Josephine earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a master’s in healthcare leadership from Brown University. In addition to her international gambling counselor certification, she is certified to treat compulsive shopping, stealing, spending, and hoarding.
Josephine served as the Executive Director for Caron Renaissance and Caron Ocean Drive. There, she oversaw clinical and administrative operations, provided support and supervision to clinical and operational staff, and built relationships with clients, families, and referents.
Prior to taking on the role of Executive Director, Josephine was the Clinical Director for Caron Ocean Drive. She provided clinical leadership to ensure that the services provided to clients and families adhered to Ocean Drive's high standard of excellence. Through her supervision of clinical staff, she fostered treatment specifically designed to address each client's and family's needs.
In 2021, Josephine launched Parallels Consulting to further develop her vision of expanding the definition of what therapy is, and how it can transform lives.
